Events feed

What we saw in the last 30 days, drawn as a route through time: each day is a station, each event a node. The shape of a node is the kind of event, its fill is how serious it was.

CountriesCablesLand routes

Only events we stand behind: a country outage is a drop of the national signal of 20% or more, measured against the last 24 hours and re-checked on the full-resolution series; a cable incident is a latency or reachability alert on a cable confirmed from several of our measurement points; a land route is a path to a region or a backbone node that our probes reached before and stopped reaching. Raw anomalies, single samples and measurement failures are left out.

Sources: country events use the IODA signal (Georgia Tech), with timing and analysis by GeoCables; cable and land route events are our own measurements.
